davindageek.weebly.com This is my unboxing of the Diamond Best Data VC500 One Touch Video Capture card. In this video I will do an unpacking and then move on to the video testing where I the different quality settings with this card. Note I have upscaled all of my captured videos, you do not have to upscale your video if you do not want to,it’s just it’s a personal preference. Disregard the lag on the part when I’m recording what I am watching on tv, The miner lag is due to my screen recording program not keeping up, and bottlenecking my system’s cpu atm. Oh yeah and I can’t forget, I also share with you a look at the editing software Ulead VideoStudio SE DVD which they include with this device. If you ask me, this is a great video card for anyone who would want to capture not only things on VHS put also games and tv shows. This is one of the cheapest cards out, and it’s great for every penny. So if you’re looking for a card that isn’t too pricey, the Diamond VC500 One Touch Video Capture card is the card for you. click here for the testing video. www.youtube.com

Just received today. It recorded ok, but it took 4 hours to up load a 3 min vid to you tube. After waiting 4 hours the vid was only 5 sec long on you tube. Have XP and Vista. What are we doing wrong?

@DavinDaGeek So do you plug it to your game, and tv, record and then put it on your computer? or do you have to have to plug it into your computer, and tv, and game to record.

@Ihaveapsp Hmm I have no idea, to tell you the truth I don’t even have an xp computer to even test this on. Hmm Maybe you should go to a user on here named Daddy jamesfilmes. His username is james25313 he might be able to help you on this one, He has a lot of xp computers and he owns this capture card. So maybe you can ask him.

This card doesn’t even work on XP for me. So I decided to first test this thing up on my Vista, and it works perfectly, but I needed to capture my wii so I needed to use my XP that is close by. So I do everything on the XP and it doesn’t work, says the device is not working properly and there is a black screen. So I thought it might be because the computer is so old, but then I tried it on my other newer XP, and still nothing. Working on Vista and not on XP? WHAT?!

I’m sure it works great, but the sad thing is I haven’t used an s-video cord nor device since the 90s D=. Sorry, I can’t tell you how s-video look man. If I find a cord around here somewhere, Then I’ll tell you. =)
