Hi I have a question I wanted to order this Cabinet but I saw a few things I was mad with the cabinet I notice the mouse and keyboard shows which I think they should of made a door that hides the keyboard and mouse but thats not all on the top of the marquee can you put a light so that the marquee lights up and is there enough room to cover the marquee with plexiglass and is there enough space to cover the bezel with plexiglass also please let me know Thank You

Still trying to come up with a nice clean design to cover the keyboard. Thought about using plexiglass to make a bezel for the monitor with a swing out door for easy access to the keyboard. There is plenty of room for some nice speakers. “Philips MMS171-PC 2.1 Multimedia Speaker System” is what I’m using for sound and they fit perfectly and sound great! The description panel to the right has a complete list of everything I have in the cabinet as of now.

Dude dud u finally get something to hide the keyboard n if u do
Please post. I ordered this cabinet but with the arcade classics grafx. One more question. What type of speakers did u put on your cabinet. Is there enough space to put some nice computer speakers. I haven’t gotten my cabinet was just curious. Is there anyway we can make our cabinet glow from the marquee or not. Let me know some ideas. Thanks.

The cabinet is very sturdy and well build and for the price its unbeatable if your looking for a compact cabinet. I haven’t had a chance to go to the local home improvement store to look around to help me get some more ideas on hiding the keyboard yet. I will keep having update videos on the cabinet as this project progresses.

I’ve heard a lot about Maximus Arcade. I’ll check out the trial version because I’ve been looking for a nice front end.

I checked Youtube for the same thing. Yeah I did research Maximus Arcade looks better than some others (Game EX, MAMEwah, Atomic FE) the customizing you can do thats on their website is astounding. $25 then what is the full purchase after the trial?

Love the cabinet. I am doing the same with Maximus arcade and the emulators. I just found ur post today and will be ordering this soon. Just one question is this cabinet good and sturdy? Would you recommend this? Have u found a way to hide the keyboard. N please post pic with sliders to hide keyboard or any ideas. Please respond. Thanks.

Thanks! At the moment I’m only running emulators. The specs on the PC are 1.6Ghz Dual Core Intel M Processor with 1G of Ram running Windows XP Home. It does a good job but I need more than this if I’m going to have a dual purpose machine. (Arcade and Home Network Server)

Congrats on the cabinet, it looks great. Do you have any consoles hooked up to it, or are you only running emulators? Judging by how smooth KI is running, I assumed you were running the n64, but it clearly says “insert coins”.
